Alexandria Drive Construction Update – Dec. 22 & 23

New Circle Road - State Highway 4 signThe Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that this news release serves as a revised update for work on Alexandria Drive. Bridge demolition operations are scheduled as part of the widening and reconstruction project.

The location for the work on Alexandria Drive will be between Viley Road and the Roundabout (City of Lexington routes).

Monday, Dec. 22 and Tuesday, Dec. 23
Motorists will be stopped multiple times between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for approximately 15 minutes per stop. The wait time for each stop will be approximately 15 minutes.

Local law enforcement will be assisting with traffic control during the stops.

A reduced speed limit of 45 MPH will be in effect at all times.

All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

Overnight New Circle Road Stoppages Planned for Construction
