US Forest Service Issues Black Bear Alert

The US Forest Service has issued an advisory about black bears thriving in the Daniel Boone National Forest and other areas in eastern Kentucky. Bears are becoming more familiar and less afraid of people. They’re dangerous and can attack if they’re threatened. The reminder from the forest service reminds campers “YOU are responsible for your own safety”.
