Blasting scheduled for New Circle Road construction area

Blasting scheduled for New Circle Road construction area

Round Alert LightbulbRoad crews will begin blasting the inner loop of New Circle Road this week between Versailles Road and Alexandria Drive.

The blasting will be between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. beginning today and continuing through Friday. As the work continues through the week, blasting times will be updated. The public will be notified via twitter @NewCircleRd prior to closures, once traffic has stopped and when it is reopened.

All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
