Boil Water Advisory LIFTED for Leestown Road Area

Update:  Tuesday, November 28 – 8pm.  The boil water advisory for persons in the Leestown Road corridor of Lexington has been lifted,

A boil water advisory has been issued for Kentucky American Water customers in the Leestown Road corridor of Lexington outside New Circle Road bordered by Leestown Road, New Circle Road, Georgetown Road and Yarnallton Pike.  This precautionary advisory is related to a water main break that occurred at Leestown Road and Opportunity Way this morning and is currently being repaired.

Water company officials advise that the boil water advisory will be in effect through some time tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.
