The National Weather Service continues to monitor the potential for strong to severe storms tomorrow (Tuesday-May 3). Rain chances will begin to increase from west to east late tonight and continue into Tuesday morning, with some embedded thunderstorms possible. Expect a break in the rain mid-late morning. Strong to severe thunderstorms will then be possible Tuesday afternoon and evening as a cold front moves through. The main threat will be locally damaging winds, although hail and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
Outside of storms, expect southwesterly wind gusts of 25-30 mph at times on Tuesday.
