Lexington Emergency Management will POSTPONE testing its network of outdoor warning sirens scheduled for tomorrow, March 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. The test is postponed due to the threat of severe weather.
The test has been moved to Friday, March 7, 2025, at 10:07 a.m. The outdoor warning siren network will be tested at the same time as the 2025 Kentucky Statewide Tornado Drill on March 7 at 10:07 a.m.
Remember: Lexington’s outdoor siren system is designed to alert people who are outdoors. The siren system is not intended to alert persons inside homes, apartments, or office buildings.
