
The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Flash Flood Watch for portions of central Kentucky and all of south-central Kentucky from Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon.
Heavy rainfall of 2 to 4 inches with isolated higher amounts in the area is possible along with localized flooding of small streams and creeks.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that leads to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
