DEM Blogger
March 31, 2021

A Hard Freeze Expected early Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings. Strong Canadian high pressure will build and settle in over the region for the end of the week. Expect several hours of below freezing temperatures both Thursday and Friday mornings.

The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 3AM to 9AM Thursday and again from 10PM Thursday to 9AM on Friday. Expect this warning to be re-issued Friday night into Saturday Morning. Temperatures are expected to dip into the low to mid 20’s.

A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
