Gov. Andy Beshear has issued an executive order that closes all businesses except those that are ‘life-sustaining.’
The governor declared that all non-life-sustaining businesses should close by Thursday, Mar. 26 at 8 p.m. That includes businesses such as professional service offices like real estate agencies and attorney offices. Essential businesses, such as grocers and pharmacies will remain open. The order encouraged essential employers to take precautions to protect their staff.
Most businesses that weren’t deemed essential had already closed. The order was an expansion of previous closures.
