I-75 Repaving Underway Between Man O War & Clays Ferry Bridge

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. Work is now underway for both North and Southbound Interstate 75.

This project includes asphalt pavement and roadway rehabilitation for a total of 09.58 miles. The anticipated completion date for the entire project is October 1, 2023.

Interstate 75

  • Lane closures are located between Man O War Boulevard (milepoint 107.445) and the Clays Ferry Bridge (milepoint 97.865) for milling and paving work
  • Motorists can pass through the work zone
  • The traveling public should expect delays and plan accordingly to allow additional time for travel

Southbound

Starting, Thursday, July 13 until further notice:

  • Single lane closure (left/fast lane) during the hours of 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. (Mondays through Fridays)
  • Single lane closure (left/fast lane) during the hours of 6 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. (Saturday)
  • Single lane closure (left/fast lane) during the hours of 12 a.m. until 8 p.m. (Sunday)
  • Double lane closures (left/fast lane and middle lane) during the hours of 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. (Sundays through Fridays)

Northbound

Starting, Thursday, July 13 until further notice:

  • Double lane closures (left/fast lane and middle lane) during the hours of 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. (Sundays through Fridays)

Starting Friday, July 14 until further notice:

  • Single lane closure (left/fast lane) during the hours of 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. (Mondays through Fridays)
  • Single lane closure (left/fast lane) during the hours of 6 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. (Saturday)
  • Single lane closure (left/fast lane) during the hours of 12 a.m. until 8 p.m. (Sunday)

Note: the schedule described above for the Northbound direction will also be in effect Sunday, July 16 through Thursday, July 20/Friday, July 21

All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
