Get ready for the second heat wave of the summer season. Temperatures around Lexington are expected to be in the 90’s starting on Tuesday.

That means the heat index may jump past 100. That’s too hot for most people to be outdoors and working strenuously.

It’s especially important for those people who are at risk from heat-related conditions, like heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
