The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that the traffic diversion has been rescheduled for Interstate 75 (southbound) in Fayette County. The traffic switch is necessary for the rehabilitation project to continue.
Work schedule & location: Thursday, May 1 at 4:00 a.m. – the outside shoulder, right (slow) lane, and center lane will close between mile points 106 and 98 for two weeks (mile point 106 is between the Man O’War Boulevard and Athens-Boonesboro Road exits; mile point 98 is the Clay’s Ferry Bridge at the Madison County line). Traffic will use the inside shoulder and left lane.
This lane closure will last for approximately two weeks.
All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
