The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a temporary lane closure is scheduled for Interstate 75 (southbound) in Fayette County. The closure is necessary for rehabilitation work to be completed on the interstate.
Work schedule & location: Monday, March 17 at approximately 7:30 a.m. – the right (slow) lane will close between mile points 106 and 98 for two weeks (mile point 98 is the Clay’s Ferry Bridge at the Madison County line)
The project will progress to the northbound lane for the same mile points after work is completed in the southbound direction.
All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
