Lexington Activates Phase 1 of the Exteme Heat Plan

Lexington has activated Phase 1 of the city’s Extreme Heat Plan.  Phase 1 is triggered by a forecast of the heat index exceeding 95 degrees during the day.

Organizations that provide services for the homeless or those with other special needs will activate their Phase 1 plans according to their individual plans.
