
Lexington has now been battling COVID-19 for 6 months! The city has a total of 6,499 cases, including 49 reported from Monday. There have also been 61 deaths.
The first week of September saw 706 reported cases. Cases have grown steadily each month during the outbreak:
- 110, March
- 143, April
- 507, May
- 793, June
- 1,702 July
- 2,538, August
You can help slow the spread of COVID-19 by following these recommendations when out in the public:
- Wear a cloth mask over your mouth and nose
- Stay at least 6 feet away from anyone who doesn’t live in your home
- Wash your hands often.
