LEXINGTON, KY. (April 2, 2024) – At 9:53 a.m., the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (LFUCG) Emergency Operations Center (EOC) was activated. This is in response to the storms that impacted Lexington this morning.
Lexington Emergency Management asks that residents limit travel and prepare for the next round of storms. Continue to monitor the weather by following local weather outlets and the National Weather Service. Make sure there is a reliable way to receive weather alerts and warnings, as conditions can change with very little notice.
The EOC will continue to monitor the situation and provide assistance where needed.
