
Lexington firefighters are taking their mission to reduce home fire deaths to the streets of Lexington on Saturday, May 18th. Firefighters plan to knock on more than 900 doors in the Castlewood Park neighborhood before the day is over. Saturday marks the fifth time firefighters have targeted a neighborhood with the goal of installing free smoke alarms to any home that needs them. The survey and installation campaign will start at 8:30am and continue until 5 pm.

It will be located at the Arlington Christian Church at 1206 North Limestone St. Lexington firefighters will conduct a free survey of home smoke alarm operations and locations.
