Lexington Emergency Management will test its network of outdoor warning sirens TODAY, August 14, 2018, from 10am to 3pm.
If you live near a park or golf course, expect to hear the outdoor siren sound a series of chimes followed by a voice announcement “This is a test”
These tests are due to new equipment installation – THERE IS NO EMERGENCY – THIS WILL BE FOR TESTING PURPOSES ONLY.
Please do not call 9-1-1 about the siren test.
