
Lexington reported a new 1-day high yesterday, with 451 COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 19,915 since the outbreak began in March. Three new deaths were reported yesterday (2 people in their 60s, 1 in their 80s), with 140 total during the outbreak.
There have been 2,512 new cases and 7 deaths through the first 9 days of December.
Hospitalizations from COVID-19 are also continuing to increase, with more than 100 Lexington cases currently hospitalized. That’s more than 3 times the hospitalizations than in the summer. In total, 1,066 Lexington residents have been hospitalized from COVID-19 during the outbreak.

- Wear a cloth face-covering in public
- Avoid close contact with others
- Wash your hands often
- Stay home if you are sick.
