The Divisions of Lexington’s Department of Public Safety came together to create a recruitment video. The Lexington Police Department, Fire Department, Enhanced 911, Emergency Management, and Community Corrections create Lexington’s Public Safety Family. Working together, these divisions ensure Lexington’s safety and well-being on a daily basis. The individuals who make up these five divisions are continually striving to support one another and create a unique, welcoming environment.

With almost 34 years in Lexington’s public safety department, Robert Larkin, Director of Emergency Management and a retired Assistant Chief of the Lexington Fire Department, could not agree more. Director Larkin shared, “Not only is Lexington a wonderful place to raise a family, but it’s also a great place to start your public safety career.”
