The National Weather Service says that repairs on the Lexington NOAA Weather Radio antenna are complete and the radio system is operating normally. If you had disconnected or turned off your NOAA ALL-HAZARDS Weather Radio, please turn it back on. It’s also a good time to make sure you have a fresh set of back-up batteries in the radio, so you will continue to get alerts if the power goes off.
The Lexington NOAA Weather Radio transmitter will be off the air intermittently due to a tower refurbishment. During night time hours and during inclement weather, the transmitter will be placed back in service. We regret any inconvenience this may cause to our listeners.
