Light Snow Showers and Freezing Drizzle Tonight

Light Snow Showers and Freezing Drizzle Tonight
DEM Blogger
February 5, 2018

A disturbance moving through the region late this evening and through the overnight hours will bring another round of light  snow showers and possibly some freezing drizzle. Mainly snow showers are expected along and west of I-65. The chance for freezing drizzle will come after midnight, mainly east of I-65, including Fayette County and Lexington.

A dusting to a couple of tenths of an inch of snow as well as a very light glaze of ice in a few spots will be possible tonight.

This may lead to some slick spots on area roadways.

If you park your car outside, consider raising the windshield wipers when you park so that in the morning, the wipers aren’t stuck to the glass as you scrape your windows.
