Snow accumulations of up to 1 inch are expected. Localized amounts up to 2 inches are possible.

Plan on slippery road conditions in spots.

Be prepared for reduced visibilities, and gusty winds at times.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

Scattered snow showers are expected across southern Indiana and north central Kentucky this afternoon and evening.

As temperatures drop to or below freezing, slick roads may develop, especially on untreated, secondary, and elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses. A quick dusting to a few tenths of an inch will be possible.

Drivers should use caution as visibilities may be reduced at times along with sudden changes in driving conditions.
