Starting Wednesday, December 10th, and continuing through at least Sunday, December 14th, blasting will occur twice daily on New Circle Road at Old Frankfort Pike, at approximately 10:00am and 1:30pm. New Circle and Old Frankfort will be closed 10 minutes before each blast and remain closed until 10 minutes after each blast.

New Circle Road will be closed in both directions from Versailles Road to Leestown Road.

Old Frankfort Pike will be closed in both directions from Enterprise Drive to Duncan Machinery Drive.

This project’s first phase will run through September 2015. Expect ongoing traffic disruptions. If your usual commute takes you through the construction zone, monitor the Lexington Traffic Management Center’s web ticker and Twitter feed (@lexwrecks) and check the Google Maps Traffic View for the area. You also can follow the New Circle Road Construction category here on our blog for the latest project information as we receive it.
