Winter is not over yet for Lexington. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Lexington from 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, until noon Wednesday, February 19, EST. 2-5 inches of snow is expected to begin between 9:00 p.m. and midnight. Snow will continue until approximately 5:00 a.m. Wednesday may cause issues with the morning commute. An additional 1/2 inch of snow is predicted for Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.

The National Weather Service issued a Cold Weather Advisory for Lexington from 1:00 a.m. tonight to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 19. Expect very cold wind chills between 5° and 5° below zero. These extremely cold temperatures will continue Thursday and Friday, with morning wind chills as low as 3°.
