
The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued the following forecast update for later this week:
- There will be widespread rain Tuesday night through Thursday, with total precipitation amounts of 2.5 – 3.5 inches expected.
- Localized flooding will be possible, especially Thursday, with river flooding possible through the weekend
- Rain will begin to transition to a wintry mix from north to south Thursday morning (mainly across southern IN) through Thursday night, with the wintry mix tapering off Thursday night into early Friday morning
- Significant accumulations of ice and sleet/snow are possible within the Winter Storm Watch, although impactful ice and sleet amounts may still occur outside of the Watch area
