Storms ahead of an incoming cold front will be capable of large hail, strong gusty winds, and possibly isolated tornadoes. These storms are expected to move into western Kentucky this evening and then cross southern Indiana and central Kentucky overnight.
The weather should be relatively quiet during the daylight hours today, making it a good opportunity to review your severe weather safety plan. For storm safety information, see www.BeReadyLexington.com.
