Siren Testing Wednesday Morning in Lexington

As part of its regular testing schedule, Lexington Emergency Management will be conducting outdoor siren tests at 10:00 AM – Wednesday, November 1, 2017 for its network of outdoor warning sirens..

During this testing period, sirens may sound chimes and other tones as well as a voice alert.

This is for testing only.  There is no emergency condition.

REMEMBER: THIS IS JUST A TEST.

Note: Due to ongoing maintenance issues, the warning siren located in the downtown/city hall area of Lexington will NOT be part of the siren test.
