Accumulating snow and a wintry mix will be possible late Friday night and Saturday morning. Precipitation is expected to spread into the area Friday night and may begin as snow then transition to a wintry mix of snow/sleet/freezing rain for a few hours Saturday morning.
Temperatures will be right around freezing and there remains uncertainty in the storm track. Therefore, confidence in the expected weather and its impacts is below average. There is potential for snow accumulation and light icing.
Those living across southeast Indiana and the northern Bluegrass should monitor the latest forecasts closely. Those with travel plans north into Indiana and Ohio should also plan for the possibility of accumulating snow.
