Volunteers Needed!

Would you like a one-of-a-kind experience while helping your community with disaster preparedness? If so, now is your chance!

Lexington Emergency Management is seeking volunteers for a disaster preparedness exercise on September 20, 2023. Volunteers can assist by serving as a controller or victim. A controller directs the pace of the exercise by distributing vital information to players. A victim is assigned a role (frequently an injury) to play, allowing first responders to practice life-saving skills.

This exercise gives your community a chance to prepare for when disaster strikes. Help your community and volunteer today!
