Waller Avenue Temporarily Closed at Railroad Crossing

Waller Avenue will be closed at the railroad crossing for 24 hours/day beginning Monday, April 20, through Saturday, April 25.

Local traffic will be allowed on Waller Avenue to reach homes and businesses. However, drivers will not be able to pass the railroad crossing.

Drivers can use Virginia Avenue to travel between South Limestone and South Broadway. Motorists should follow detour signage in the area and expect heavier traffic on Virginia Avenue.

This closure is part of a Norfolk Southern project.
