The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 1 PM EST /noon CST/ to 7 PM EST/6 PM CST/ Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
Southwest winds of 20 to 30 MPH with gusts of 40 to 45 MPH possible at times.
The strong and gusty winds will blow loosely secured outdoor objects around. Some tree limbs may come down and driving high profile vehicles will be more difficult. In addition, low relative humidity in the afternoon will result in an elevated fire danger risk. Residents should not do any outdoor burning Tuesday afternoon or evening.
A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts of over 40 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult…especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
