
The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 5 PM EDT this afternoon (Wednesday) to 2 AM EDT Thursday.
Expect winds from the southwest 20 to 30 mph becoming westerly this evening. Gusts are possible in excess of 40 mph…locally 50 mph.
Loose objects may be blown around. Small tree limbs and branches may be damaged. Driving may be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles on north-south highways.
A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts of over 40 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult…especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
