
A WINTER STORM WATCH will go into effect for Lexington starting Sunday morning and continuing throughout the day and evening.
Wintry weather will be possible late tonight across southern Kentucky. Light accumulations of snow and sleet will be possible before sunrise. Accumulating snow and sleet is possible through Sunday evening across portions of Kentucky. Significant accumulations are possible along and southeast of a line from roughly Bowling Green to Lexington. Current snowfall estimates for Lexington are 3 to 5 inches by Monday morning. Sleet and freezing rain are also possible.
