Winter Weather Advisory in Effect Until 7pm

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Lexington area until 7pm.

Freezing drizzle is likely, possibly mixed with snow showers. Cloudy, with highs around 30. North wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Total daytime ice accumulation of around a 0.1 of an inch possible. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tonight: A chance of snow showers and freezing drizzle before 7pm, then a chance of flurries between 7pm and 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with lows mainly in the middle teens. Northwest wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact area travel, mainly on secondary roads. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
